PRESENTATION
The Association Tous Dehors, under the artistic direction of Laurent Dehors, is developing a program that encourages the production of innovative musical works, with the aim of promoting, transmitting and valorizing jazz and improvised music, by making this form part of its artistic project.
Since its creation, the Tous Dehors ensemble has been a laboratory for musical ideas - numerous groups have been formed as a result - and for encounters with theater, dance and other musical aesthetics.
Tous Dehors is a crossbreeding factory in the jazz tradition, without excluding other musical influences, notably classical music. This orchestra is a utopia come true, a territory of encounters between artists from all horizons.
The Tous Dehors ensemble proposes a synthesis of popular and learned jazz in which the writing remains attentive to the
dosage between freedom and orchestral mastery.
Thus, the musical project of composer, arranger and conductor Laurent Dehors participates in the renewal of the jazz repertoire by opening up to traditional music. Rock and contemporary music are mixed in, giving the band an unmistakable color that is resolutely anchored in its time.
BIOGRAPHY LAURENT DEHORS
Blowing on every reed he could find, Laurent Dehors didn't even hesitate to take on Michel Portal or Martial Solal. Nor did he hesitate to pay tribute to Glenn Miller with the rather equivocal title "Dommage à Glenn".

2019: creation of the concert-parcours at the Château de Valençay with the artistic team of "Une petite histoire de l'opéra opus 2".
2019: re-creation of "Une petite histoire de l'opéra opus 2" at the Château de Valençay theater in a "young audience" version with Tineke Van Ingelgem, Gabriel Gosse and Laurent Dehors.

Coproduction: Festival Banlieues Bleues, Rencontres Internationales de Jazz de Nevers, scène nationale l'Allan in Montbéliard, Communauté d'Agglomération rouennaise.
2002 - 2003 - 2004: Residency in Rhône-Alpes (trio, solo, big band concerts, etc.). National tour of the big band Tous Dehors in partnership with the Fédération des scènes de jazz, creation with choreographer Jean-Claude Gallotta of "Blik autour de soi", creation of the Trio Gnawa, national tour of "Dommage à Glenn", associate artist at the Centre Culturel le Rive Gauche in Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray. Creation of a BAL (rereading of the great hits of national and international French variety). Master-class at the Villette jazz festival. At the same festival, presented "Dommage à Glenn".
2001: Dommage à Glenn (CD release 2002). Creation of an offbeat reading of Glenn Miller's repertoire (premiered at the Rencontres Internationales de Jazz de Nevers festival) with Le Petit Orchestre (Delaunay / Merville / Chevallier / Quillet / Lignon / Stil / Massot) and CD release.First performance at the "Villette Jazz Festival" with Tous Dehors, the Méga Fanfare, Alexandra's Brass Band (A.S.), and amateurs from the Île de France region.
2000: Performance and arrangements (created for the "Octobre en Normandie" festival) of three works by Stravinsky: Ebony Concerto, Trois pièces pour clarinette seule and Histoire du soldat. Revival of Claude Barthélémy's "Fragonard" concerto for tenor with the contemporary ensemble Ars Nova (conductor: Philippe Nahon).
1999: Creation with his quintet and Michel Portal (Rouen) - Creation with Martial Solal and Tous Dehors (Ecoute s'il pleut- Rouen).
1998/99: Residency at ADDM 22 "Mission jazz" in Côte d'Armor (teaching, creation, distribution)
1996-2001: Tous Dehors residency in Rouen under agreement with the city of Rouen, DRAC and Haute-Normandie region (creations, educational initiatives, "Ecoute s'il pleut" festival, etc.). Artistic director of the "Ecoute s'il pleut" festival (jazz and improvised music) organized by the Tous Dehors association.
Laurent Dehors was a member of the Orchestre National de Jazz. (1989)
