Tous Dehors is teaming up with the Orbis musical ensemble, which specializes in musical creation and contemporary repertoire. This project is all about blending and mixing different sounds and cultures, leading to a wild dance where nine virtuoso musicians respond to a mixed and wild composition, resulting in an unexpected explosion. The six musicians of the Orbis ensemble, who excel in a variety of styles, will join the dynamic trio of Tous Dehors to embark on an ambitious creation combining jazz, musical creation, and contemporary music!

This musical encounter will be the subject of a program offering audiences two world premieres composed by Laurent Dehors and Julien Malaussena, as well as pieces from each ensemble's repertoire.

This musical creation celebrates artistic emergence with the desire and pleasure of associating it with today's young performers. An unprecedented creation, with joyful and surreal rhythms, that will not leave you indifferent!

The Orbis group specializes in musical creation. Orbis means compass in Latin and carries a particularly inspiring symbolism for the Ensemble, which is constantly searching for a utopian cardinal point, an imaginary journey towards a world of sound constructed by the desires of composers.

The ensemble stands out through its diverse aesthetic representations and its desire to develop multidisciplinary projects. Starting with an innovative range of instruments—flute, saxophone, accordion, percussion, electronics with conductor—the ensemble has developed a variable geometry approach, multiplying sound possibilities and establishing itself within a dynamic and creative contemporary repertoire.

Under the artistic and musical direction of Demian Rudel Rey and the artistic coordination of Rocío Cano Valiño, the ensemble pursues an active commissioning and residency policy, creating numerous works by living artists. Working with electronics is central to its sound identity. The ensemble develops performances incorporating video, images, dance, and theater, while giving careful consideration to the scenography and form of the performance. Based in the Lyon region, the ensemble aims to support cultural and artistic outreach projects in partnership with various regional, national, and international institutions.
